About Jacoby: Jacoby Ballard is a Brooklyn-based community organizer, herbalist, and yoga teacher. He attended the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine in 2004 and has since studied with Robin Rose Bennett, an herbalist in New Jersey. He currently organizes with the Northeast Radical Healthcare Network, who put on the annual Northeast Grassroots Community Herbal Convergence, intersecting holistic healthcare and progressive politics.
