1. We'll be looking for some of our speaking workshop participants to
deliver micro-speeches during the March 1 GA, so we're in the process of contacting them in order to gauge interest.

2. In addition, we might continue the speaking workshop thread with a pair of “advance” workshops in March. Watch this space for more info if it materializes.

3. We're still kicking around names of people who would be good fits to
accompany Ashanti on the speaking tour proper, so if you think you'd be
interested, definitely drop a line. Remember, the actual content of the
tour will largely depend on the proclivities of the people who do the
speaking, so it's going to be difficult to nail down specific topics and
themes until we know who's game to speak.

4. We've got a few general principles that have informed our own
understanding of why we feel he speaking tour is a worthwhile initiative,
so keep an eye out for those in a preliminary announcement.

5. In addition to finalizing, the speaking lineup, our next steps will
involve a whittling down of the suggested neighborhoods and the generation of a rough timetable.

6. A number of solid ideas for accompanying literature and pamphlets have been put forth, so once we decide on that, we'll welcome any input from people interested in doing some writing.

7. Other promotional efforts will require a significant amount of money,
so we'll probably be announcing some kind of pledge drive soon.

8. NYMAA merchandise is available right now at

buttons, etc., goes right back into our propagandistic efforts.

9. A NYMAA-specific panel at Bluestockings is in the works for March 30,
so anyone interested in participating in that, definitely let us know.
