From Theory to Application: What Are We Going To Do With The North-East Anarchist Network?
August 11th and 12th, 2007 @ The World Society Institute - 11 W. 26th (at Broadway) Manhattan, NYC

Meet with fellow anarchists and anti-authoritarians from throughout the northeast as The Northeast Anarchist Network holds our Network–Wide conference in New York.

The Proposed Agenda is currently divided into sections as follows:

1. Organizing
   1. Introduction of Organizing Projects that attendees are currently involved in
      • i.- NYMAA project matrix
   2. Federation / Coalition building between projects
      
      1. La Otra / Listening-style Campaign for
         • developing a process to establish potential Articles of Federation of Coalition Structure and
         • Workshopping those articles around to communities in multiple rounds for suggestions and ratification
   3. Launching New Projects
      
      • solidarity superstructure for training, resource sharing, and dispatch to existing grass-roots organizations that are democratic and do awesome work.
      • resource clearing house: creating an open space somewhere in the northeast that can host simple events, dispatch a schoolbus, and/or house materials and supplies for actions, organizing, etc. w/ rotating administrative body from participating organizations
      • micro-lending program: member projects pay a nominal monthly dues and can apply to a spokes-body for small loans from that pool
2. Structure (we are currently accepting proposals for redistribution to the network before the conference)
   
   1. Fine tune the structure section of the document
      • fix the emergency voting procedure to eliminate counting votes by group and defining "emergency"
      • fix the 2nd procedure for making decisions amongst groups to eliminate the role of "assemblies"
   2. Adopt a formal decision making process
   3. Adopt a list-serve policy
   4. clarify the roles of caucuses in the general structure
