An electrifying new vision of progressive politics by Stephen Duncombe, "Dream:
Re-imagining Progressive Politics in an Age of Fantasy" is a twenty-first-century
manifesto for the left. How can we draw upon popular fantasies to create alternative
politics through imagination and spectacle? What practical lessons can we learn from
corporate theme parks, video games, celebrity culture and Las Vegas? Duncombe
proposes that popular fantasy can help us make a new political future possible.
