Two proposals by NYMAA have been submitted. I thought perhaps we could go over:
1. what those proposals are.
2. what work they may entail (though, as we are still waiting for acceptance, this is not a priority quite yet).
3. and also start looking into some of the logistics of getting ourselves down there.
Training day for volunteers participating in operation FIRST CASUALTY will be held in Astoria Park the afternoon of May 26th.
A handful of volunteers are still needed. If you have the time and inclination to be part of this innovative anti-war theater please contact Steve at youth@warresisters.org
Iraq Vets Against the War is organizing operation FIRST CASUALTY an anti-war street theater to take place on Sunday May 27. It's an ambitious plan which needs our help to succeed.
The NYMAA Reading Group will discuss Martha Ackelsberg's "Free Women of Spain: Anarchism and the Struggle for the Emancipation of Women" on Thursday, May 31st at 6:30pm.
