In an attempt to rise out of sweatshop conditions, workers have engaged in strikes and protests, and have filed lawsuits complaining of minimum wage and overtime violations. 24 workers from 2 wholesale warehouses in Brooklyn were fired in the past month in retaliation for their union membership and immigration status. Workers need your support as they struggle to enforce minimum wage and demand their right to organize regardless of immigration status.

Release Party: Stephen Duncombe "Dream"

An electrifying new vision of progressive politics by Stephen Duncombe, "Dream:

corporate theme parks, video games, celebrity culture and Las Vegas? Duncombe
proposes that popular fantasy can help us make a new political future possible.
