A film about three very different protesters who headed to Gleneagles,
Scotland in the summer of 2005 to persuade the gathered world leaders
to take steps to help save the planet from destruction. This film was
made by BBC documentary makers, who traveled around with The Clandestine
Rebel Clown Army (CIRCA), the G8 bike caravan, and a member of the
Communist Party of Great Britain.
Oaxaca is under siege. More than 140 people were arrested this weekend and three were killed. The repression has reached new heights, with disappearances occuring daily. The Federal Police (PFP) are deploying special operation units to crush the popular uprising, and have issued statements declaring that they will do whatever it takes to put an end to the movement by December 1st, when the new government takes power.

In response to the recent police shootings in Queens, Al Sharpton has called for a rally against police brutality this Wednesday, December 6th, at police headquarters downtown. Several other groups have also supported the call, and the general time that I've seen is 4:30pm.
There will be two events in New York City on December 7th to support
our friend and fellow organizer, Daniel McGowan. These events are
part of the December 7th International Day of Solidarity with Green
Scare Targets & Political Prisoners.
